Well-Played Casino

Full-Stack Application hosted on Heroku. Using Bootstrap with Handlebars to structure and style the application on the front-end. Using SQL and express for the back-end.

Collaborated with a team of four to complete the application through Git workflow. Used Implemented S3 Bucket for avatar photo upload, and ChatGPT for a window chat feature. Used Node.js and Express.js to create a RESTful API Worked with MySQL and the Sequelize ORM for the database. Applied authentication with express-session and cookies. Implemented security by protecting API keys and sensitive information with environment variables. Added encrypted protection by using bcrypt to hash the users password. Used Bootstrap to style the front-end and Handlebars to render the HTML dynamically.

Similar to the Well-Played Casino project, in this application I used Bootstrap with Handlebars to structure and style the application on the front-end and SQL/express for the back-end.

Applied folder structure that follows the Model-View-Controller paradigm (MVC). Packages used include express-handlebars, MySQL2, Sequelize, Express.js API, dotenv, bcrypt, express-session, and connect-session-sequelize. Used MySQL and the Sequelize ORM for the database. Used express-session for authentication and cookies. Used bcrypt and dotenv for data protection.

Five Day Forecast Weather App

Bootstrap is used to structure and style the application.

Utilized a Third-Party API called OpenWeatherAPI to obtain city and weather data. Used Javascript and Jquery to dynamically generate searches and functions.

Solid Workout App

Application built with MERN stack, using React front-end, MongoDB database, and Node.js/Express.js server and API. Developed and deployed a full-stack MERN application on Heroku, using AtlasDb for cloud hosting. Employed two separate third-party APIs, including Exercise API and Unsplash API. Polished and mobile responsive with a dynamic user interface through Material UI.

Card-X

Led the development of a full stack MERN application as Scrum Master working along side four other engineers. Featuring React.js and Material UI on the front end. MongoDB along with Node/Express for our database and API setup for our GraphQL server connection. Successfully deployed it on Heroku by hosting the database on the AtlasDB cloud platform.
